Based in Dandenong South you will be joining a collaborative, high performing team and will be fully supported and provided with opportunities for continuous development and growth. Focused on delivering premier projects that exceed their clients’ expectations.
You will utilize your vast network and relationships with prominent Architects, Designers, Builders and Developers to generate project specifications and exert influence over.
The company holds several key niches where it claims market dominance in Australia. This advantage allows them to use their expertise as a “Trojan horse” to gain an initial specification, which then facilitates the expansion of their wide product range within each project.
What you’ll be doing
As the Architectural Specification Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of stakeholders to secure business and drive growth with existing customers, while actively seeking new opportunities. You will be provided with full product training.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role manages all elements of architectural specifications and builder account management. Liaising with our internal cross-functional teams, the Specification Manager will ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to customers.

You will possess a versatile skill set and the ability to adapt to the constantly changing requirements of the role, which encompasses analytical skills, and strategic and tactical insight.
We are seeking individuals who possess a profound passion for interior design and a keen interest in the latest trends in architectural products. - Resilient, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with an optimistic view in all you do
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager
- Previous experience in Architectural Specification
- Established network of Interior Designers/Interior Architects
- Develop and deliver engaging technical CPD presentations and in-house product demonstrations showcasing the unique advantages of our clients’ products and solutions
- Researching and identifying key decision-makers within the target market, identifying new opportunities and building market share
- Conducting market research on industry trends to deliver strategic campaigns and influence stakeholders
- Enhancing collaboration among internal estimating, sales, marketing, technical support, and operations teams is crucial to ensure project alignment and efficiency
- Good understanding of taking products to market; identifying opportunities
- Previous experience and success in Sales and Marketing, product and brand promotions – High Advantageous
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and products
- Experience in lead generation and conversion with the ability to build and maintain strong pipelines
- Able to ‘bring the fun’ whilst recognising the need to deliver our client’s plan
- A track record of nurturing customer and industry relationships, with direct relationship management and broader networking / trade shows
