What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage accounts of medium and advanced complexity, including defaulted multifamily commercial real estate loans
• Facilitate the resolution of problem loans through interactions with multifamily borrowers and implementing loan modifications
• Collect and analyze financial information to ensure loans are managed properly and timely
• Perform credit analysis and recommend solutions for loan restructures
• Mentor and coach junior workout professionals, enhancing team performance

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field
• 9+ years of workout and/or portfolio management experience
• Advanced knowledge of commercial loan workout best practices and multifamily lending
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field
• Knowledge of New York City multifamily loans, particularly in rent-controlled and stabilized buildings
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally as a team player
• Experience interfacing with senior management
