What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage accounts of medium and advanced complexity, including defaulted multifamily commercial real estate loans
• Facilitate the resolution of problem loans through borrower interaction and loan modifications
• Analyze financial statements and commercial real estate reports to evaluate loan qualifications
• Proactively manage troubled loan relationships and lead discussions with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field
• 9+ years of workout and/or portfolio management experience
• Advanced knowledge of commercial loan workout best practices
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field
• Knowledge of New York City multifamily loans, particularly rent-controlled and/or rent-stabilized buildings
• Ability to provide accurate and timely reporting and analyses for investor portfolios
• Experience interfacing with multiple levels of the organizational structure
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
