Sr Developer Project Manager (Remote)

Position objective

This position will work with our Web Development and Design Team and ensure the delivery of web applications that meet the business needs and align with the business and technology strategic vision

Job responsibilities and functions

This also includes coordinating work with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to our development, analytics, sales operations, IT, BIA, Call Center, and Marketing teams.

• Anticipates and proactively solves problems both independently and collaboratively, and through effective delegation to the respective resourse
• Responsible for the creation, modification, and maintenance of project macro schedule and delegates assigned sub-content to project managers. This includes establishing milestone goals. Develop a strategy with the Digital Director to ensure all deadlines are met in relation to project objectives and scope.
• Delegates the logging, review, and re-prioritization of tasks and bugs to appropriate project managers. Guides and approves changes made to ensure project goals are met.
• Maintains a constant awareness of project status and quality levels through regular sessions.
• Ability to explain system functionality to end user
• Anticipates scheduling overruns through effective gathering, analysis, and presentation of measurable data. Initiates or delegates actions to resolve scheduling issues and collaborates on workable solutions.
• Proactively ensures project updates and changes are communicated to the development team and Insomniac executive team.
• Leads the creation of milestone deliverable documentation, collaborating with project managers to coordinate goals across diverse disciplines.
• Leads with a vision for the implementation of new or refined production methods.
• Develop collaborative relationships across all peers and departments.
• Consistently achieves and demonstrates Insomniac’s cultural leadership values.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for designing, executing, and testing the quality assurance process
• Coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and investigate root cause analysis
• Lead strategic projects across multiple areas and ensure successful project execution.
• Experience in people management through effective communication and problemsolving analysis
• Analyze and optimize recurrent project and ticket requests in order to organize the information and improve visibility, communication, and project delivery.
• Build and diagram system processes to understand better the customer journey, system interactions, identify areas of opportunity and recommendations
• Responsible for optimizing and improving existing processes focused on customer experience and operational efficiency
• Responsible for operationalizing newly designed processes and capabilities
• Document the issues encountered and report on trends to the main stakeholders

Requirements

• University/ College
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Specialized knowledge:

-Computer Science / BA/BS degree or relevant experience

-Certification of an agile framework or method (i.e., Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices

-Relevant software Visio, Lucid Charts, Office Suite, Google Optimize, Hotjar, Optimizely

-Knowledge of HTML, A/B testing, and other CMS.

-Relevant experience in tech-based companies

• Computer knowledge: Advanced Knowledge of Excel and MS Office Programs / 3+ years using Wrike, Jira, Asana, or related PM Tools / Microsoft Visio, Mind Maps, Lucid charts, or similar mind mapping tools
