Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse array of projects, overseeing all stages from routing and siting to construction compliance.
- Guide resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, specifically emphasizing FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
- Interact and coordinate effectively with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts, to ensure comprehensive project execution.
- Facilitate communication with the public and stakeholders during hearings and community meetings.
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and forecasts to ensure successful outcomes.
- Participate in business development activities and attend industry conferences to promote company initiatives.
- Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold environmental standards.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Arts in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specifically related to pipelines.
- Professional certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
