Sr Java Developer (Remote)

Responsibilities

We are currently searching for a Sr Java Developer:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Utilize Spring Boot and other Spring frameworks for application development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Optimize SQL queries and database indexing in relational and NoSQL databases.
• Apply design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Observer, and Strategy in real-world scenarios.
• Manage and configure Spring Beans in various contexts.
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in Agile development processes and sprints.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Java with strong expertise in dependency injection and IoC principles.
• Solid experience with Kafka, including partitions, consumer groups, and messaging patterns.
• Expertise in the Spring framework: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, complex queries, indexing, and optimization for relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, including versioning strategies.
• Advanced understanding of design patterns and their practical applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.

Desired

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for deployment orchestration.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
