Our Sr. Manager, Marketing will design, plan, and execute consistent communication and content strategy across all channels including but not limited to new product and program launches, promotional materials, internal and external communications, customer events and training. The ideal candidate should know how to apply analytics to personalize and optimize content and effectively communicate both technical and non-technical messaging and evaluate campaign effectiveness. The candidate will regularly interact with agency partners, cross-functional leaders and executive leadership team members and build new opportunities across our customer engagements. The Sr. Manager, Marketing will be a solid leader, clear communicator and possess great analytical and project management skills.

This position will serve our Rheem Air Distribution Division. This position can be based Texas, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey, in which Rheem operates its distribution network. This position will report directly to the VP/GM of Rheem Air Distribution with support and collaboration from Rheem’s Air Conditioning Division Marketing team.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute marketing strategy across traditional and digital platforms that drives high engagement.
  • Serve as editor-in-chief and graphic lead for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency. Demonstrate strong branding advocacy for both internally and externally created materials.
  • Lead and innovate trade advertising, content strategy and implementation.
  • Direct social media strategy and tactics from planning, content creation through publishing. Collect, monitor and analyze social and website metrics, and make improvements accordingly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content, campaigns and communication strategy as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and training team, product and sales leaders and agency partners to create promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage the distribution of content across all channels. Optimize and nurture e-mail campaigns.
  • Strategize annual program and promotional messaging as well as develop and maintain communication tools for all key programs and product launches outlined above or as assigned. Present data-driven recommendations to leadership team.
  • Coordinate public relations responses, as needed, with divisional subject matter experts.
  • Daily management of key vendors and agency partners to ensure effective project management, timely project completion, quality, and efficient use of resources to achieve planned objectives within budget.
  • Establish key reporting metrics on all channels and initiatives and set up monthly/quarterly reports to monitor progress and results.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 10+ years demonstrated evidence of progressive experience in marketing, content development and management, agency experience leading in a multi-project, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experience leading marketing teams
  • Track record of implementing content marketing tactics such as SEO, digital advertising, e-mail marketing and social media campaigns is required.
  • Evidence of professional proficiency in writing, public speaking, and expression of complex technical data in simple terms is necessary.
  • Solid proficiency with the entire suite of Microsoft Office suite of software is essential. Experience with Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Google Analytics, Oracle or like programs is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated organizational, resource, and time management skills are essential for success.
  • Occasional travel is necessary
