Role Overview: Senior Product Manager – Membership Experience

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the design of an advanced platform tailored for our Health & Benefits clients. You will be instrumental in shaping the User Experience strategy, ensuring excellence in delivery through actionable insights, team collaboration, and driving impactful results. Your partnerships with engineers, designers, architects, and business leaders will be crucial in delivering a user-centric solution that adds tangible value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and enhance compelling account holder experiences across multiple channels, including online platforms, mobile applications, IVR, customer service interactions, and educational content.
  • Conduct user interviews, focus groups, and usability testing to surpass accountholder expectations.
  • Analyze customer feedback, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to guide our strategic decisions.
  • Track product performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to optimize user experience and drive business success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify needs, constraints, and align initiatives with our strategic objectives.
  • Implement Agile methodologies to refine product backlogs, establish roadmaps, and execute release planning.
  • Manage Agile artifacts to facilitate prioritization and informed decision-making.
  • Assess features and associated costs to determine optimal pathways for product development.
  • Inspire and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-paced technology setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Design, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is advantageous.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector or with startups is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling products.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles.
  • Ability to blend strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Self-motivated with the adaptability to navigate changing priorities.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities that inspire respect and facilitate the formation of self-organizing teams.
  • Analytical, strategic, and creative mindset with robust problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices such as iterative development and backlog management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with team members and stakeholders.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities while maintaining composure in challenging situations.
  • Experience in mentoring junior product managers.
  • Open to constructive feedback and willing to provide supportive guidance.
  • Familiarity with HSA, FSA, HRA, JSA, and COBRA products is preferred.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in modern product management, UX design, and user research techniques.
  • Availability for occasional overtime and comfortable with extended periods of desk work.
