Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Global Security Program Manager with a focus on NGA and GEOINT consumers to join our team. Candidates will have experience managing complex efforts that include elements of cost, schedule and technical performance management of information technology projects with a concentration of Geospatial Information Systems data and Data Analysis. Experience with managing complex contract/programs, building and developing client relationships, managing contract deliverables, subcontractors, dispersed teams, and delivering quality products.

Essential to success in this role is a keen ability to provide leadership to the internal and external teams in the execution of the assigned projects/programs. This position will interface internally with operations and engineering resources regularly. Additionally in this position you would be working very closely with the Global Security sales and delivery teams as well as company executives.

This position will report directly to the Vice President of Global Security.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the cost, schedule and performance of a large global security program or multiple global security projects.
  • Schedule and lead program execution meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build a relationship with the clients and partners and be informed of challenges and issues that will affect client deliverables and communicate that back to the internal and external delivery teams.
  • Be or become an SME on the assigned Global Security client(s) and build relationships with the customer stakeholders.
  • Support the sales team response to new business opportunities, support technical writing responses to RFPs, RFIs, white papers and briefings to RFPs and follow up with prospects.
  • Support the contractual execution of the effort; work with Ursa Space contracts to properly track contractual artifacts.
  • Lead the financial execution tracking of the program assigned; work with Ursa Space finance and external partners to track expenses.
  • Provide status information to Ursa Space stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Provide program feedback back to Ursa Space stakeholders and external partners to improve our solutions.
  • All other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent US military and industry experience
  • PMP certification or additional years of relevant experience
  • NGA experience & GEOINT mission understanding
  • Ability to work collaboratively within sales function and across functions including Executive Leadership, Marketing, Sales Operations, Solutions Engineering, and Product Development
  • Strong level of expertise in technical specifications required to sell satellite data analytics and services
  • High technological competence matching with the responsibilities listed above


Preferred Skills

  • 15+ years experience as a Project Manager and proven results running complex US Government technology and IT projects in an Agile environment
  • Department of Defense/Intelligence Community Program Management experience
  • Military service
  • Federal sales cycle and contracts experience
  • Highly efficient communication skills both verbal and written as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Skilled in combining business insight with IT knowledge to create value for the customer
  • Leadership/coaching to motivate and provide direction to others inside and outside organization


Compensation

  • $180,000 – $200,000


Location

  • Hybrid or Remote. Required attendance at mandatory Ursa meetings at Headquarters when necessary (typically 2-3 times per year)
