Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple environmental projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
- Direct resource teams in the execution of environmental studies and preparation of permit applications, ensuring compliance with FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, legal professionals, and GIS analysts.
- Communicate proactively with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedules, and forecasting to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Engage in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold project standards.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and FERC requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Teams, and MS Dynamics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specific to pipeline projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of FERC regulations and federal environmental legislation.
