The Sr. Project Manager will leverage their management, domain, and technical experience to participate in Gray Quarter’s software implementation and managed service practice. The Sr. Project Manager will work with multiple City, County, and State governments to maintain, design, and build enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

Complex Projects: Leading projects of $2M+ budget, 12+ months duration, and involving more than one government department or group.
Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion by implementing established project management practices. Lead planning and budgeting processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to the Statement of Work, and establish effective project governance frameworks to guide project execution.
Project Health: Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Monitor progress and address variances, working closely with both customers and internal teams to identify risks. Develop and execute risk mitigation plans, and implement tracking and reporting metrics to maintain transparency and insight into project status.
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate effective and collaborative communication with clients and stakeholders. Act as the primary escalation point for project issues and assist the Regional Director in executive steering committees.
Business Development: Contribute to business growth by supporting new business initiatives and expanding existing projects. Engage in proposal development and budget estimation processes.

Requirements

10+ years of consulting implementation experience with commercial off the shelf (cots) software
5+ years of implementing the software for State, County or City Government
5+ years of managing a project portfolio larger than $5 Million
Bachelors degree in information technology or related field
Strong written and verbal communication, strong presentation experience
Ability to travel ~50% and work from a home office otherwise
Passion for working with government
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects that are at various stages of delivery.
Aptitude for understanding and applying new technologies and methodologies.
Use of formal project management tools (e.g., MS-Project, Visio, Jira, Harvest, Forecast, etc.).
Strong analytical skills and experience managing technical and project management issues.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands.
Ability to interact and communicate with CxO-level personnel as well as technical individual contributors.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
