Sr Python Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a Sr. Python Developer with 4+ years of experience in similar positions. Having a degree in Computer Science or equivalent is a must.

As our Python Developer, you will be responsible for the design and construction of automated tools for business processes and testing of digital products.

Your responsibilities will include:

– Ensure the quality and operation of a productive application with impact on a massive public (B2C) and integrations with other businesses (B2B).

– Ensure the operation and monitoring of our test batteries and automated processes.

– Participate in the development cycle, identifying and executing test automation on our web and mobile applications and services.

– Implement e2e and service testing using good development practices.

– Implement business processes with scripts based on web scraping techniques and invocation of Web / RESTful services.

– Lead issue troubleshooting processes in test and production environments.

– Act as a reference for the incorporation of technologies and monitoring of initiatives, providing mentoring to collaborators, reporting progress status, and alerting against deviations.

– Design software architectures with a focus on the integration of processes and applications.

– Design and maintain an automation framework that allows its reuse in all microservices of the digital platform.

– Work in a dynamic environment in collaboration with the Product Owners, DevOps, Software Engineers, and UX Designers of our team, generating synergy to take the product to levels of excellence

Minimum (essential) Requirements:

– Experience +4 years in a Software or Automation Development position.

– University or tertiary studies in systems careers.

– Experience with database engines such as MySQL, MongoDB, BigQuery, or equivalent.

– Experience in algorithms and data structures in OOP languages ​such as Python, Java, or equivalent.

– Experience in test automation with Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber, or equivalent.-

Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring of production systems using logging and reporting tools.

– Experience in interacting with WS-SOAP and REST-Json in application integration environments.

– Experience in using scheduled task execution systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, or equivalent.

– Advanced experience in ticket tracking tools such as Jira, Redmine, PivotalTracker, Asana, or equivalent.
