Sr Qa Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with proven expertise in Python-based test automation to join our team. In this role, you will focus on building and expanding a certification test suite for IoT devices, ensuring full compliance with current and upcoming Matter specifications. You will play a critical role in automating test cases, improving our test frameworks, and driving the certification process to guarantee that devices meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Interop Test Scripting:

• Enhance and maintain our existing test automation framework.
• Automate manual test cases to improve efficiency.
• Design and implement interop test solutions for sample SDK applications.

Certification Test Automation:

• Build and expand the test suite to certify Google devices for compatibility with Matter specifications.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all specification requirements, aiming for near-100% coverage.
• Backport test suite enhancements to previous certification suites to maintain feature parity.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Python.
• Familiarity with Matter specifications and IoT certification processes is a plus.
• Ability to analyze, design, and improve testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments.

Would be a plus:

• Experience working in agile teams.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and testing environments.
