Join our dynamic team of specialists who help our clients automate the ever-changing world of hazard communication regulations, like WHMIS or GHS, into our enterprise software solution. We are hiring a Sr. Regulatory Analyst to join our project team. You will work alongside other analysts and report directly to the Regulatory Content Manager. You will participate in and/or lead the analysis of regulations and work with interdisciplinary teams to develop implementation strategies for inclusion of pertinent information into Sphera products. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, addressing regulations and standards such as country-specific GHS implementations, REACH, global transportation of dangerous goods, and industry standards such as ANSI, CEPE, and ISO. The regulatory analysis is used by the development team to automate the production of safety data sheets (SDS), labels, and other results required for compliance with regulations related to hazardous materials around the world.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring regulations for changes and determining whether those change impact the implementation
- Analysing regulations which are new or require changes to the applications and communicating the regulatory requirements to the development teams
- Work with the development teams during the implementation to ensure questions are answered and the implementation is in line with the regulatory requirements
- Present at conferences/give webinars in conjunction with marketing on regulatory topic
- Answer client cases in the appropriate time frame
Requirements
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Fluent working knowledge (spoken and written) of English.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- University degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Ecology or related fields.
