Kopius Tech, a tech consulting firm specializing in product development, is dedicated to fostering innovation and sustainable solutions within the IT industry. We are currently in search of a highly proficient Sr Software Developer to join a dynamic team of prototyping engineers in an exciting project within the agricultural technology sector.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate daily with an autonomous team of software engineers, product owners, and business leaders to deliver prototype applications that test business value.
• Led implementation initiatives in designated areas of the project.
• Facilitated discussions with Product Owners to align on project goals and requirements.
• Influenced technical decisions to ensure best practices and optimal solutions were adopted.
• Develop applications and services using the latest tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Deploy applications in collaboration with the development team and regional business owners.
• Advance prototype engineering applications, facilitating handoff to shared or commercial capability teams for global utilization.
• Troubleshoot and maintain deployed code developed by the team.
• Integrate with existing libraries and frameworks, improving and building new solutions to meet customer needs.
• Evaluate existing commercial offerings, shared capabilities, and functionality required by the team.
• Identify opportunities for developing new solutions to enhance value delivery to customers.
• Champion ways of working and best practices to promote a digital mindset across the organization.
• Shape the vision for the team’s products, considering impacts, dependencies, and collaboration opportunities.
• Anticipate and address technical and organizational obstacles impacting the team.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for self-improvement of technical and non-technical skills.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.

Basic Qualifications:

• Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems.
• Thrives in a team environment, actively contributes to collaboration, fostering a sense of community.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Embraces new ideas to enhance problem-solving processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in web application development and cloud-based continuous delivery.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.
• Knowledge of Angular and React.
• At least 2 years of experience working with or on agile teams, demonstrating agile principles.
• Expertise in AWS tools and micro-service design and development.
• Comfortable operating in environments with a high degree of ambiguity.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with different programming languages, cloud technologies, and current industry trends.
• Software engineering work experience using a functional or object-oriented language.
• Experience working with TDD.
• Broad understanding of front-end, back-end, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and DevOps environments and methodologies.
• Experience in the agriculture domain knowledge is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python.
