Sr Software Engineer Drupal (Remote)

We an opportunity for a software engineer with Drupal expertise to contribute to our work at the Department of Commerce.

What You’ll Do

• Understand business goals and drivers and translate those into an appropriate technical solution using Drupal, including the creation of custom Drupal modules where appropriate.
• Support the full development lifecycle starting with requirements gathering all the way to documentation and delivery.
• Work in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Azure cloud-based environment
• Build fully accessible solutions using Drupal per WCAG and Section 508 guidelines using modern front-end frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and secure code, adhering to best practices in DevSecOps.
• Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team including a product manager, user experience specialists, additional developers,and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive software solutions.
• Lead code reviews, share knowledge with the team, and mentor junior developers.

What You’ll Bring

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, or commensurate work experience and certifications
• 5+ years engineering experience with PHP and Drupal, with specifically demonstrable experience creating and integrating custom Drupal modules and performing Drupal-specific debugging and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Bonus Points

• Understanding and experience working in an Azure cloud environment
• Previous experience working in a complex government environment

Compensation And Benefits

Pluribus Digital offers a competitive salary that is determined at the time of offer. The range for this role ranges from $141,000 to $191,000 depending on experience. Salary is augmented with opportunity to earn annual bonus and medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO, company paid life insurance and a generous 401k match program.
