Sr Software Engineer Fully (Remote)

The Role

• You will be responsible for project leadership as well as individual contribution
• You will design and implement systems primarily using Rust, while also utilizing principles of functional programming and microservices architecture
• You will lead and develop projects integrating with APIs for credit card integrations and other financial products
• You will gather requirements, design, test, implement and operate services

Your Skills

• You have strong backend development experience in languages such as C/C++, Java, Rust, Scala, Golang or Python
• You have proven track record in designing software from the ground up as well as modifying existing applications
• You have been in a similar senior software engineering role
• You have knowledge of systems development, operations, and CI/CD practices (docker, Resids. SQL DBs, etc)
• You have business-level proficiency in English
• Japanese proficient is not a requirement, but a big plus
• Developing experience in Rust and Scala will be highly beneficial
• Experience in the Fintech domain
• Team management and project management experience
