Sr Software Engineer (Remote)

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer based in FORT WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to our team, focusing on the development of new features and enhancements for our applications while ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable. You will be a key player in the software development lifecycle, collaborating with various teams to improve engineering processes and mentoring less experienced developers.

Responsibilities:

Act as a technical authority, guiding industry standards and system design fundamentals such as Microsoft C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript (Angular, ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS), and SQL.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders across the organization to capture system requirements and propose technical solutions to business problems and opportunities.
Foster an environment of healthy communication, collaboration, and accountability within the development team.
Contribute to the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of products and services on an Agile team.
Design, implement, enhance, and integrate relational databases such as SQL Server.
Estimate and track work, deliver on team commitments, and effectively report progress or impediments in an Agile environment.
Create and maintain documents for technical designs, decisions, configurations, and standards.
Continuously learn to stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve software quality and development efficiency.
Utilize software development and coding standards to translate system requirements into technical implementations.
Use your expert knowledge in .Net Framework, .Net Core, .Net Standard, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

Must possess extensive knowledge and experience in Backend Development
Proficient in the use of Atlassian Jira software
Ability to develop and implement Business Logic
Skilled in Client Side Scripting
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is required
Experience with AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies
Proficiency in using Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications
Must have experience in API Development
Expertise in ASP.NET is a must
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
