We’re looking for a talented and user-focused Senior UX Designer to join our team part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as we continue to grow.

About The Role

As a Senior UX Designer at Podscribe, you’ll be responsible for improving the user experience across our platform, enhancing the workflow for existing features, and designing new, intuitive features that meet the needs of our users. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative problem solver who is passionate about user-centered design and wants to make a significant impact on the user experience of a growing tech startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX Design Process: Drive the design process for new features and platform enhancements, from research and ideation to prototyping and usability testing.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of user experience and functionality.
• Conduct User Research: Gather insights through user research to inform design decisions and ensure the platform meets user needs.
• Create Design Assets: Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Improve Usability: Continuously refine and improve the usability of our platform based on user feedback and behavior data.
• Maintain Design Guidelines: Collaborate with the design team to maintain and evolve the visual design and branding guidelines.
• Assist with Product Management (Nice to Have): Support the CEO with product management tasks, such as prioritizing feature development and coordinating between teams.

Qualifications

• UX Design Expertise: Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and solutions.
• Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• User-Centered Approach: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Good with Customers: Ability to engage with customers to gather insights and feedback, ensuring designs meet their needs and expectations.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into intuitive user experiences.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Location Requirement: Must speak English and currently residing in the U.S.
• Industry Experience (Bonus): Experience in the ad-tech industry or with data-intensive applications is a plus.
• Product Marketing Experience (Bonus): Experience working on or supporting product marketing efforts to highlight user benefits and improve product positioning.
• Product Management Support (Bonus): Experience working closely with product management or supporting CEO-level product strategy.

• Part-Time to Full-Time Transition: This role will start as a part-time position to assess fit, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and company needs.
