Staff Engineer (Remote)

Location: 100% Remote (Mexico)

Compensation: 100k – 125k MXN/month

We are looking for a superstar experienced MERN Staff Engineer to join their smart and dynamic technical team! The ideal candidate will be driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to quickly learn new technology stacks and how to best implement them. Responsibilities:

• Contribute to feature development across our suites of products.
• Collaborate with team members on a variety of challenging projects.
• Design and contribute to the architecture of our Enterprise Platform.
• Hold yourself and your team accountable to a high standard of delivery and quality.
• Balance competing priorities to ensure we effectively ship new features while resolving defects and managing technical debt.

• Proven and verifiable track record of working with the MERN/MEVN stack for at least 4 years.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and can convince the team to do something technically extraordinary in plain simple terms.

Qualifications: –

• Minimum 7 years of Full-stack experience from your prior life – it’s your thing and what you bring to the table.
• Experience with web technologies like Node, Express
• Experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, CosmosDB
• Experience with Nest, GraphQL and GQL Playground gives you an edge
• Experience with front-end technologies like Vue and React
• Experience with enterprise SaaS is a huge plus
• Back-end security doesn’t scare you – in fact, you know enough to help architect robust solutions to make us more secure and compliant each day
