What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions to address business challenges
• Lead the redesign of legacy products using AWS infrastructure
• Mentor team members on software engineering best practices
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure product quality
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sprint goals and support code deployments

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 10+ years of relevant experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in C#, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and .NET Framework
• Extensive experience with AWS and cloud development
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
• Proven problem-solving skills and experience with the full software development lifecycle

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Advanced degrees or continued education in relevant fields
• Experience in environments subject to HIPAA or PCI regulations
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or AWS Certifications
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and test-driven development
• Experience in software-as-a-service, actuarial science, or insurance underwriting
