Overview:

As a State Head in the piping industry, your primary responsibility is to oversee all business operations within the state of Jharkhand. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will lead and manage a team of sales professionals, coordinate with internal departments, and represent the company in interactions with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and maximize profitability within the state of Jharkhand.

Sales Management: Lead and manage the sales team to effectively promote piping products, generate leads, and close sales deals with key customers, contractors, consultants, and government agencies.

Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company’s market presence in Jharkhand through targeted marketing initiatives, product promotions, and strategic partnerships.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness and productivity.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop sales budgets, forecast revenue projections, and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations and alignment with financial objectives.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and evaluate competitor activities to identify growth opportunities, anticipate challenges, and develop competitive strategies.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business activities to senior management.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, operations, logistics, and finance to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and drive overall business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in sales management, preferably in the piping industry or related sector. Previous experience in a leadership role is essential.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a track record of leading and inspiring teams to achieve sales targets and business goals.

Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and navigate market challenges.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and communicate persuasively with internal and external stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze market data, interpret sales metrics, and make informed decisions to drive business performance.

Networking Abilities: Extensive network of contacts within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors in Jharkhand is highly desirable.
