The Company
A multi-national Geotechnical and Foundations Contractor with a rich history servicing Victoria’s most significant Infrastructure and Commercial developments with an impressive run of projects across High-rise Commercial, LXRP, North East link, and Suburban Rail Loop, this business is seeking a leader of the Victorian division for continued success in current and new market segments.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the State Manager will play a pivotal role in the overall success of the state business operations including project performance, people development, P&L reporting, business development, project pipeline development and commercial governance.

What key factors will help the candidate be successful in this role?

• Expert knowledge in deep foundations and grounds improvement works representing Piling contractors at the director level
• A strategic planner developing business across multiple market sectors (Commercial, Infrastructure, Renewables)
• A leader of people – oversee direct reports of long-tenured staff, and work to get the best out of your team for ultimately successful project outcomes.
• Utilise years of construction experience to risk profile new projects coming into the business
• Tap into your developed network and build on existing client relationships within the business

Requirements

• A proven history of delivering Foundations projects in the Australian market
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent
• Previous management of divisions within similar sectors
• Track record of negotiating and executing Design and Build contracts up to $40 million
