Job Description

This position is responsible to ensures a clean and safe environment in the kitchen by cleaning dishes, cooking utensils, equipment etc.

– Work with Culinary and Food and Beverage Service Team to support the departments through plate ups, movement of equipment, cleanliness and hygiene of work area, dishwashing, pot washing and other F&B equipment
– Conducts deep cleaning according to protocols
– Cleans and stores pots, pans, trays, worktables and other equipment used by the Chefs
– Clean and wash stoves, ovens and grills, grill hoods, tilt kettles, refrigerators using cleaning solutions & washcloths
– Sanitize, sweep and mop kitchen floors
– Separates customer dishes and utensils according to standard operating procedures
– Accounts for any utensils, dishes, decorations and equipment used during events
– Responsible for storing chemicals and cleaning products
– Carry out the duties as specified on the daily/weekly/monthly task lists of the kitchen area.

– 0-1 year experience as kitchen attendant/steward; previous experience is highly preferred
– Physically fit and can lift heavy objects
– Knowledge of mixing food safety chemicals is an added advantage
