We are seeking an experienced journalist to join Stock Journal’s editorial team.

For more than 120 years, Stock Journal has been South Australia’s leading rural newspaper, providing the latest agricultural news and market information to SA farmers. Today, Stock Journal is also an industry leader in online news and information with stockjournal.com.au and its related app providing farmers with immediate access to the news and information they need to do business.

The successful candidate will travel the state and report on the issues that matter to South Australian farmers and their communities. Our reporters produce highly engaging multimedia content for our digital, print and social media channels on a broad range of subjects, including agricultural news, livestock and grain markets. An understanding of agriculture and regional South Australia and/or experience in the agriculture industry would be seen as highly valuable. The senior journalist will help lead the team towards best practice in all elements.

This role can be based anywhere in South Australia, with an ACM office in Eastwood, and also the option to work from home.
