JOB SUMMARY
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is an experienced sales professional responsible for driving the company’s objectives within strategically significant accounts operating in a national environment. The SAM’s primary role is to oversee and nurture all aspects of the relationship with Strategic Accounts (SA) at the corporate level. This includes close collaboration with PIP’s Regional Teams—Regional Sales Directors (RSDs), Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), Product Managers (PMs), and the Customer Experience (CE) team—to ensure exceptional service and support at both corporate and local levels.
YOU ARE
Pricing Strategy Developer: Develop and maintain tailored corporate pricing strategies for each Strategic Account to ensure competitiveness and alignment with account needs.
Team Collaborator: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between corporate pricing strategies and overarching sales programs and objectives.
Program Implementer: Implement corporate initiatives in partnership with the PIP sales force to support and drive Strategic Account objectives.
Proactive Communicator: Conduct regular live and virtual meetings with the PIP sales team to communicate client relations updates and introduce new strategic initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaborator: Partner with internal teams, including Product Management, RSDs, TSMs, Marketing, and other stakeholders, to execute successful Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews.
Strategic thinker: Effectively communicate updates and changes within Strategic Accounts to the appropriate PIP resources to ensure alignment and prompt action.
Product Trainer& Launcher: Lead or coordinate product launches and training sessions for Strategic Account customers, ensuring effective resource utilization and customer education.
Strategic Planner: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic annual plans for all assigned Strategic Accounts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
CRM & ERP Expertise: Extensive knowledge of CRM and ERP systems, with a preference for experience in Microsoft Dynamics, to effectively manage and track corporate relationships.
Advanced Excel & BI Tools: Advanced Excel skills, along with familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, to analyze and interpret data for informed decision-making.
Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Business Intelligence tools, enabling effective collaboration and presentation of data.
Verbal & Written Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure professional and effective interactions with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills that contribute to building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Bilingualism (Asset): Bilingualism is considered an asset, enabling effective communication in multiple languages for a wider range of stakeholders
