Your Role

As a Strategic Marketing & Account Manager, you will use your expertise in B2B marketing, content strategy, and event management to develop creative strategies that directly align with client goals, driving impactful business outcomes. In this client-facing role, you will manage 2 to 4 strategic retainer clients and occasionally oversee one-time projects, guiding them from inception through execution. You’ll play a critical role in crafting tailored marketing solutions to enhance brand visibility to identified target audiences and clients’ key objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, leading regular meetings, providing strategic guidance based on goals, and managing expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Content Strategy & Planning: Work directly with clients to develop comprehensive marketing strategies which may include a combination of multimedia content, ABM campaigns, industry events, and additional initiatives to meet their goals. Create competitive analyses, conduct market research, and stay on top of industry trends. 
  • Project Management: Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, including large reports, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality. Create content calendars and production timelines that outline the schedule for reports, blog posts, articles, social media updates, and other content types.
  • Task Delegation: Delegate tasks to internal teams, clearly communicating deliverable requirements and ensuring alignment on objectives and timelines through project completion.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of polished and error-free content, maintaining the highest standards in all client deliverables.
  • Webinar Management: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of webinars, ensuring they align with client goals and deliver valuable content to target audiences.
  • Upselling & Strategy: Partner with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling additional services to clients, leveraging insights to drive account growth and long-term partnerships.
  • Event Support: Provide onsite event support and media coverage to maximize client visibility and engagement at industry events.

About You:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably within an agency, consultancy, or B2B marketing environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years developing content marketing strategies
  • Project management experience (Monday.com, Trello, etc.).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting, managing multiple projects and client needs from a home office.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working in retail or commerce-related industries.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing content marketing strategies and managing webinars.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and project management tools (e.g., CRM, Email Marketing).
  • Certifications in project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean, PMP) are advantageous.
  • Located in or near Orlando, Florida, is preferred but not required.
