Position Summary
The Strategic Partnerships Manager will be pivotal in enhancing the effectiveness of our strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and expand existing partnerships, collaborating closely with a diverse array of partners to enhance their referral networks and boost loan originations. Your contributions will be critical to our customer acquisition efforts and will advance our mission of providing SBA and other commercial funding solutions to a broader spectrum of small businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations to maximize loan originations and deepen integrations.
- Identify essential success factors for your accounts and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to implement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze partner origination performance, providing insights on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new partners.
- Re-negotiate commercial terms with existing partners as partnerships evolve.
- Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, legal, marketing, sales, and compliance.
- Contribute to optimizing processes within the partnerships team to enhance overall impact.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in customer success or partner management within the finance or technology sectors.
- Experience in Financial Services or FinTech is highly desirable.
- Comfortably interface with various levels of partner organizations, including Business Development, Sales, Legal, and Product teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on metrics-driven success.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to maintain organization while handling multiple partners and initiatives.
- Proficient in leading meetings with external stakeholders, including conducting business reviews and sales training.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce reporting is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, aimed at fostering collaborative relationships.
