The Security Strategy& Analytics team partners with the Security Technology Group to create outcomes that craft and deliver the security products that meet our customers’ needs. The team empowers the business with product insights and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver impactful results. Our goal is to enable smarter, faster, and more composed data-driven business decisions at Akamai.

Partner with the best

In this role, you will partner closely with the Security Technology Group’s product leadership. You will own the development of analytics tools from start to finish. You will work closely with major stakeholders within InfoSec, Product Operations, Product Management, Product Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Finance organizations.

As a Strategy & Operations Analyst II, you will be responsible for-

• Establishing a business partnership with Security leadership
• Meeting with stakeholders to understand pain points and gather business requirements
• Liaising with IT partners to draft technical requirements
• Designing solutions to meet requirements including data architecture and front-end wireframes
• Bringing your designs to life using database queries and data visualizations
• Enhancing user experience and adoption and gathering feedback to continuously improve

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will-

• Have a bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, BCA or MCA
• Have over 5 years of experience in consulting, business operations/strategy, or other analytical roles.
• Have proficiency in SQL and Tableau (or comparable business intelligence tools).
• Have a self-starter mentality with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of urgency.
• Show excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner across cultures and functions.
• Show problem solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and propose solutions
