Structural Engineer (Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a REMOTE Structural Engineer to join our growing team, responsible for designing and analyzing building structures (80% commercial projects) while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and contribute to innovative solutions for a variety of commercial and retail construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other structures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to create safe and efficient designs.
• Perform structural analysis using software tools such as RAM Steel, RISA, and STAAD.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, and structural specifications.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Experience with structural analysis design and tools such as RAM Steel and RISA.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
