Job Overview

We are excited to announce an opening for the role of Student Finance Trainer, a position designed for individuals who are passionate about empowering others through education and support. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the future of student finance and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within our organization. As a key player in our team, you will facilitate the development of team members’ understanding of financial aid, student accounts, and regulatory compliance in a fully remote capacity, inviting candidates from eligible states across the U.S. to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement engaging training programs that enhance the knowledge of staff in financial aid, student accounts, and compliance.
  • Conduct in-person, hybrid, and virtual training sessions that address critical aspects of student finance.
  • Stay abreast of federal, state, and institutional regulations, ensuring that training content is updated accordingly.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and refine training materials that meet the needs of our team.
  • Organize and maintain training documentation and resources for accuracy and relevance.
  • Participate in special projects aimed at improving team effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • An Associate degree is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in financial aid or student finance roles is necessary.
  • At least one to two years of experience in management or learning and development positions is required.
