Substation Project Manager Wfh (Remote)

We are actively seeking seasoned Project Managers to join our esteemed team, offering opportunities for remote or hybrid work arrangements based on extensive experience in substation design. This position involves leading critical projects in the design and implementation of new, upgraded, and expanded substations, contributing significantly to our commitment to excellence in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases of substation projects.
• Manage responsibilities that encompass material procurement, construction oversight, and support for commissioning and energization of projects.
• Execute project management duties, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, monitoring, and reporting on various projects and proposals.
• Lead a diverse team of project and design engineers, designers, drafters, and support personnel.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across various engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing technical mentorship and guidance to project team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of project engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in project management and leadership roles.
• Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
