What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Support operations for virtual interpreters in collaboration with the Operations Supervisor
• Monitor staffing needs and address coverage concerns as necessary
• Train staff on best practices for using virtual interpreting platforms
• Coach and train interpreters on Communicative Autonomy best practices in medical encounters
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes to build an effective team

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Interpreting, Business, Health Care, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive managerial experience in virtual interpreting settings
• Proven ability to model and show best practices in virtual platforms
• Strong understanding of the needs of both Spoken and ASL interpreting
• Ability to maintain positive interdisciplinary relationships and escalate concerns appropriately

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Interpreting, Business, Health Care, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive managerial experience in virtual interpreting settings
• Experience with technology troubleshooting and training
• Familiarity with customer service policies and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to create work aids and streamline operations
