Supply Chain Manager (Remote)

Schedule: 2pm-11pm EST

Salary: Up to $2,000 monthly

Scope of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, demand planning, and inventory management, with a strong focus on Amazon FBA and Shopify. This role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities:

Freight Management:

• Obtain multiple quotes from various forwarders to ensure competitive rates for transporting shipments

Select the most cost-effective and reliable forwarders for our needs.

• Connect the forwarder’s local agent with our suppliers to ensure smooth coordination

Logistics Coordination:

• Monitor communications between forwarders and suppliers to ensure timely pick-up dates
• Coordinate with our warehouse team to schedule receiving shipments efficiently
• Ensure all logistics operations adhere to the set schedules and requirements

Amazon FBA & Shopify Management:

• Create and set up shipments within Amazon FBA
• Generate weekly inventory reports for our Amazon FBA Stock
• Understand the importance of Amazon’s IPI score
• Generate weekly inventory reports for our Shopify stock located in our local Warehouse
• Ensure compliance with all Amazon and Shopify requirements and guidelines

Demand Planning & Inventory Management:

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts to predict potential inventory shortages
• Place inventory orders as necessary to meet demand, accounting for holidays, peak seasons, and other variables
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans accordingly to ensure stock availability
• Create process to accurately track Inventory & smoothen out operations

Communication & Coordination:

• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including suppliers, forwarders, and internal teams
• Provide regular updates on shipment status, inventory levels, and any potential issues

Requirements

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory management
• Strong understanding of Amazon FBA and Shopify logistics processes. This is a must have
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in demand planning and inventory forecasting
