The annual range for this role varies between $200,000 and $250,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Senior Vice President of Growth is responsible for collaboratively leading GMR Marketing’s growth efforts including the following areas:
Leading the function of Growth
- With the purpose of maximizing new and organic business growth outcomes for the agency, the SVP will strategically lead a functional area within the agency while also serving as a key individual contributor to GMR’s growth outcomes.

Key Focus areas:
- Grow GMR’s Core Experiential business (Global/Domestic Sports and Entertainment growth is not the focus)
- Organic growth of existing GMR clients
- Large integrated Omnicom business opportunities
- Annual Growth Plan – creation and adherence
- Team leadership (direct reports) and cross-functional (matrix) management
Prospecting
- In alignment with GMR’s growth plan, effectively prospect for new and organic business opportunities in the experiential and event marketing by leveraging brand relationships (your own and GMR’s) and by networking with industry leaders.
- Actively navigate the Omnicom network to foster and build strategic partnerships with key individuals and other agencies and drive new business opportunities through which services GMR can support them and their clients.

Manage internal agency Growth Action Meetings that will:
- Identify, prioritize, and action upon top new-new and organic growth opportunities
- Establish and actively maintain a dynamic growth board that showcases top targets and individual and organizational efforts applied to move from prospect to billable client
Effective and Impressive Response Development
- Lead collaborative response creation efforts and finalization of written RFP responses, slide decks, and budgets with direction and present to the client, brand, agency or prospect.
Expertise of GMR Programming and Service Capabilities
- Work with Strategy to harness and express GMR’s investment in SOLE Scient and Behavioral Intelligence capabilities and create easily understood value narratives, clear / enticing and effective prospect engagement materials, approaches to integrate within other agency capabilities to enhance market value position to the industry and prospects
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of GMR past programming and current programming to provide the most relevant information / case studies / capabilities related to specific business development opportunities
- Keep current with emerging experiential and partnership marketing/industry trends and best practices
- Ensure position(s) are shared and understood across all GMR departments

REQUIRED SKILLS
Business Development. You have 15+ years of building relationships and closing deals with Fortune 100 companies in the marketing space, preferably Experiential. Additionally, you have experience and contacts that demonstrates a pattern of achievement and outcomes.
