About the role:

As the HP NonStop SME you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the platform, applying and growing your technical expertise to perform analysis of stakeholder requirements and deliver commitments on agreed dates. You will work as part of a wider team, however the role is very autonomous so it is essential that you are self-motivated and able to work on your own.

You will have the opportunity to influence future direction within a large financial services organisation, and work on critical and complex projects during a time of exciting transformation at Suncorp.

What you’ll do:

Accountable for the delivery of specific internal customer and Suncorp objectives within the HP NonStop platform and Health domain.
Apply and grow technical expertise in HP NonStop and related technologies
Implementation of Technology Strategies and Technology Roadmap
Implementation and testing technology solutions and services as predefined by SLAs and OLAs, project plans and POWs.
Highlight technology incident trends for root cause investigation and participate in Problem Management analysis
Contribute to maintaining and improving the value provided by the HP NonStop platform at Suncorp and work within a wider team supporting monitoring, alerting and systems management within Suncorp.

What you’ll bring:

A minimum of 3+ years’ experience with HP NonStop within a large organisation
Experience with performing Operating System Upgrades including specific knowledge of console applications and how they interact with the NonStop system.
Knowledge of HPE NonStop Firmware and Software Product levels and keeping the system maintained to the required levels.
Knowledge of Xygate User Authentication and how it works with LDAP
Good understanding of Safeguard and its parameter to maintain security
Understanding of the OSS Personality and a basic POSIX knowledge
Knowledge and Experience and Configuration of VTC backup systems
Knowledge of Expand and experience configuring it
Good understanding of EMS and creating Filters
In depth knowledge of startup and shutdown procedures of the NonStop system
Good knowledge of TACL and writing macro’s
Understanding of Control-M
Knowledge and Experience with Shadowbase data replication
Knowledge and Experience with AutoTMF data replication
