Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Operations Manager to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in building internal processes, managing teams, and working with customer relationships. The candidate will be responsible for improving operational efficiency, tracking metrics, and ensuring that the team embodies the company’s core values. While experience in financial services, accounting, and tax is preferred, it is not required.

Availability:

  • Full-Time, 30–40 hours per week (average of 35)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 9 AM — 5 PM CST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and optimize internal processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Track key metrics and prepare detailed reports for upper management.
  • Manage and lead a team, fostering and enforcing the company’s culture.
  • Handle customer relationship management and maintain a high standard of client service.
  • Serve in a client-facing role, providing support and assistance as needed.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of client-facing experience.
  • Must hold an active passport.
  • Proven experience in building internal processes to improve efficiency.
  • Experience in tracking metrics and preparing reports for management.
  • Experience with Trello and other CRM systems.
  • Strong team management skills and the ability to enforce company culture.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently.
  • Embodies the company’s core values: Communication, Personal Development, Discipline, Impact, Inspiration, and Results-Oriented.

Language Requirements:

  • C1 level of English proficiency.

Preferred Skills:

  • Having a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is a plus.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, accounting, or tax is preferred.
  • Experience preparing tax returns or as a CPA is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Salary is paid in USD or local currency, depending on the candidate’s preference.
