About the role

As the Team Lead Strategy & Analytics at Cropster, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the company’s overall strategic direction. You will oversee a team that manages the company’s portfolio strategy, including product marketing strategy, partnerships, commercial operations, and market intelligence. Your role is to ensure that Cropster remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving market, while aligning our strategic initiatives with long-term business objectives.

What you’ll do

• 
  Lead Strategic Planning: Develop and execute Cropster’s overall strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and growth objectives. Lead the annual and quarterly strategic planning processes, setting priorities and goals across the organization.

• 
  Oversee Portfolio Strategy: Manage the company’s portfolio of products and services, ensuring that each aligns with market needs and company goals. Work closely with product marketing strategists to ensure products are positioned effectively and competitively in the market.

• 
  Manage Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and mentor a diverse team, including the Product Marketing Strategist, Partnerships Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, and Commercial Intelligence Analyst. Ensure collaboration across team to achieve strategic objectives.

• 
  Drive Market and Competitive Analysis: Oversee the collection and analysis of market data, competitive intelligence, and customer insights. Use these insights to inform strategic decisions and identify new growth opportunities.

• 
  Foster Strategic Partnerships: Work with the Partnerships Manager to identify, negotiate, and manage key partnerships that align with Cropster’s strategic goals and enhance our market position.

• 
  Optimize Commercial Operations: Collaborate with the Commercial Operations Manager to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and support the execution of strategic initiatives.

• 
  Communicate Strategy: Present strategic plans and updates to senior management, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with the company’s direction. Regularly report on progress, challenges, and key metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

We are looking for someone with

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

• Proven track record of leading successful strategic initiatives in a B2B SaaS or technology-driven industry.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with

• Experience in the coffee industry or familiarity with Cropster’s market segments.

• Expertise in portfolio management, product lifecycle management, or similar strategic frameworks.

• Experience in managing strategic partnerships and alliances that drive business growth.
