This role is a unique blend of talent management, negotiation skills, personal branding and strategic planning. You are passionate about building and maintaining relationships, comfortable communicating with talent from all over the world during and after office hours, and continuously strive to improve your roster of talent.

Reporting Structure:

  • Directly reporting to the Team Manager (T.M.) of your business unit
  • Indirectly reporting to DULCEDO’s Board of Directors (B.O.D’s.) Karim Leduc, Benjamin Carter and Karim Rekik

Detailed Task Description:

  • Consistently discover and recruit new talent and know the key players in the influencer + entertainment space
  • Guide your talent on their development, help them increase their visibility and social media audience
  • Identify and sign new talents that are aligned closely with our current objectives
  • Participate actively in the onboarding process of new talent
  • Manage and support a roster of talents assigned to you
  • Prospect new sales & business opportunities with potential clients as well as directly oversee the B2B development and career advancement of a selection of the talents
  • Facilitate the negotiation and execution of sponsorships and brand collaborations/partnerships on behalf of talent
  • Create and implement personal branding strategies, social media audience growth and development techniques across platforms for your roster of talents
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales, revenue, and retention-based KPIs
  • Attend in-person industry events and talent meetings

Team Manager:

  • The Team Manager serves as the vital bridge connecting upper-level management with team members. They function as the guardians of performance goals, ensuring they are achieved and that team members adhere to established policies and procedures. The Team Manager ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of the team. Each Team Manager can oversee a team of up to 6 members (depending on their experience)

Management:

  • Representation of talent and meeting their individual Sales goal
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Conduct training for new employees within the organization
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings
  • Hold weekly meetings with the Associate Directors of the division
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with team members under supervision
  • Share valuable tips and strategies with team members
  • Oversee and carry out performance reviews
  • Take the lead in quarterly team goal setting and initiatives related to sales and recruitment
  • Offer a strategic plan for coaching and nurturing the development of each team member

Operations:

  • Approving vacations of their team members and making sure they follow the vacations protocols

New Hires:

  • Conduct unit training sessions twice a week for a duration of five weeks
  • Provide guidance and training to new team members during their call #1
  • Be included as a CC recipient in communications involving new staff within the department for a certain period

Performance review:

  • Qreview (3-months review)
  • Annual Review

PTC responsibilities:

  • Comprehend each point and review the handbook with every team member and new hire
  • Ensure that all team members strictly adhere to Dulcedo’s processes, procedures, and policies
  • Inform and clarify company policies to team members
  • Authorize Time Off requests in Bamboo, ensuring adherence to the Time Off Policy
  • Raise concerns by flagging to P&C or your Director team members when necessary
  • Contribute to the progressive discipline and deliver warnings when required
  • Participate in the hiring process for new team members, including reviewing resumes and conducting interviews
  • Provide feedback to team members, whether positive or negative, as needed
  • Attend one monthly meeting with the P&C Manager

Other responsibilities:

  • Participate in all company-hosted events and actively support and engage in initiatives organized by the board of directors, including chat clubs, social clubs, and more
