Technical Account Manager | Pearl Solutions Group | Costa Rica

We are looking for passionate, motivated and self-sufficient sales professionals to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the existing account base and have sales and delivery oversight responsibilities. You will also be calling on new customer prospects, including attending industry trade shows for lead generation purposes. The organization will help with some general marketing materials and general marketing activities. You will also have an appointment setter that will be assisting with reaching out to prospects.

The ideal candidate would have experience selling software and hardware technologies to mid-market and enterprise customers. Experience selling to energy/utility, manufacturing, distribution centers would be beneficial. Experience with selling computers, vehicle mounting equipment, hotspot hardware and vehicle wiring for computers would be beneficial.

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of the sales process for existing accounts
  • Provide some delivery oversight / assistance for existing accounts
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition
  • Design / Create custom solutions based on client needs
  • Identify, recruit and work with referral partners to generate leads
  • Create and deliver sales presentations
  • Work with leadership and marketing to execute your G2M plan
  • Maintain current and accurate account information and contact information within our CRM software
  • Manage the entire sales process for all opportunities to closure
  • Weekly forecasting – know the $ amounts, status, decision makers and next steps in closing opportunities
  • Attend trade shows and seminars as needed

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of previous technology sales experience
  • Position is 70% account management and 30% new business development
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have experience selling complex hardware / technology solutions
  • Must speak perfect English.
  • An understanding of vehicle wiring and wiring schematics is helpful
  • Ideal candidate will have experience selling computer electronics or proven aptitude to pick it up quickly
  • Technology savvy salesperson that learns products quickly and with little guidance
  • Track record of managing delivery projects for multiple customers at the same time
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Have a strong desire to be a sales professional and be willing to do what it takes to make it a reality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills via the phone and internet and in person
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once (flexible and self-sufficient)
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident and tenacious
  • Comfortable creating and delivering compelling presentations
