Job Description

As a Tech Lead (Ruby Engineer), you will be responsible for the overall development of the company’s products and internal tools. This is an important role where you’ll contribute to the development of new features, as well as maintaining and supporting the company’s products.

Responsibilities

• General development of the company’s products (from detailed design to testing and development)
• Both front-end and back-end development
• Maintenance, operation, and support of products

Development Environment

• Languages: Ruby 2.5.5, JavaScript (CoffeeScript), slim, SCSS (BEM)
• Frameworks: Ruby on Rails 6 or 7, jQuery, Chart.js, Next.js
• Middleware: Nginx, Puma
• DB: MySQL 5.7
• Testing tools: RSpec, Autify
• Infrastructure: Docker, Capistrano, AWS
• Version control: Git (GitHub)
• Communication & Task Management: Slack, Backlog

Requirements:

Must

• At least 3 years of working experience in Ruby on Rails development
• Fluent in Japanese
• Proven track record of full-stack development

Preferred

• Experience with React and Next.js
• Empathy for the company’s mission, vision, and values
• Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies
