About HRHA

The Hume Rural Health Alliance (HRHA) aims to meet the growing digital needs of 16 member and customer Health Services within the Hume region. 

The initiatives managed by HRHA for the region pursue the ability to digitalise the regional healthcare environment, providing the best outcomes for patients by delivering patient centred information systems which drive efficiencies and information flow. 

Alongside, the region will continue to build and improve the foundational technologies and support services required to deliver day to day operations of Health Services effectively and efficiently.

About the role:

This is an exciting time to join the team, as we embark on rollout of digital health initiatives across the 16 Health Services and transform the current environment using cloud technologies. 

The role is responsible for overseeing a team of engineers, ensuring that our network, server, and storage infrastructure is operating at optimal levels. The role is responsible for management, administration, resilience, and availability of the on premise and cloud infrastructure and reliable networks supported by HRHA and critical to the delivery of patient care at our member health services. The role drives HRHA in adopting the latest proven technologies and is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, reliable network, and systems to support the operations. 

The Technical Operations Team Leader is located at Shepparton and provides flexible work environment, hybrid blend of work from home and onsite. The role reports to the Technical Operations Manager. 

For suitable experienced candidates, fully remote based within Australia with some agreed travel can be considered. 

We are looking for:

• Prior experience managing on premise and cloud infrastructure in a large or multiagency service provider organisation. 
• Experience in uplifting Infrastructure management maturity.
• Strong customer service focus 
• A degree level qualification in Information Technology or equivalent industry qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
