Our client, a leading force in the scheduling application industry, provides advanced HR and scheduling software solutions to prestigious clients including Starbucks, AirFrance, and various governmental and health organizations. With a global presence, including a dedicated team in Canada, the US, Croatia, and more, they are now looking to expand their team in Argentina.

The client is looking to add an experienced Technical Product Manager to their team in Argentina. It’s a full-time permanent position with a record of employment and a full benefits package provided through Remote.com. Note that it’s a remote work arrangement with very occasional travel to Buenos Aires (1-2 times a year, all expenses paid) to foster team collaboration and learning/training opportunities. Only candidates based in Argentina are encouraged to apply. B2+ level of English communication skills is required for efficient collaboration with the client’ existing international team (US, Canada, Croatia).

The Role: The successful candidate will steward our client’s employee scheduling app. This is a cross-functional role that requires a strong communicator who is comfortable collaborating closely with engineering, marketing, implementation, and our client success and sales team and diving into technical details headfirst.

As part of the product team, you will be responsible for all feature development and partner integrations. This role requires someone who is technically proficient, naturally curious, and comfortable working with internal and external stakeholder groups. You will be the product evangelist and help drive our clients’ go-to-market strategy with their partners.

Responsibilities:

    Manage the lifecycle of product functionality, from ideation through to execution. You will work closely with the engineering team to deliver product functionality on time.
    Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for the engineering team.
    Support the product team in refining acceptance criteria, prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog, and running sprint planning meetings.
    Act as the domain expert and trusted advisor on product functionality and usability. This includes collaborating on client training materials, implementation guidelines, marketing collateral, etc. You will be instrumental in the positioning of our go-to-market strategy with our partners.
    You will be required to research, identify market opportunities, and present data-driven decisions to help define the roadmap. You are responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of the roadmap priorities.
    Be a leading voice in an ongoing integration strategy that is cohesive and offers consistency across our partners and product touchpoints.
    Stay informed about industry trends, market landscape, customer needs, and integration best practices to define opportunities for competitive advantage.
    Review all technical documentation required for integrations and act as the liaison between third-party vendors/partners and our product and engineering teams.
    Define and analyze KPIs for your product area and share insights with the product team and management on a regular basis.
    Present the strategy and corresponding roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, and demo product functionality to various audiences.

Technical Skills Required:

    3-5 years of experience as a product manager in a tech company, with a proven track record you can speak to.
    Background in software development
    Developer Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, Django, SQL, or other languages and systems is a plus.
    Experience working in an agile, scrum environment with a strong understanding of the guiding principles.
    Ability to make actionable and data-driven decisions; this requires an understanding of SQL, and preferably experience with product analytics tools.
    Ability to juggle competing priorities and a fast-paced startup environment.
    Technical proficiency and comfortability working hand-in-hand with the engineering team.
    Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical and feature specifications, creating story maps and cards that include acceptance criteria and detailed technical details.
