About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 12+ years of experience to lead and manage large-scale data center migration projects for a leading data center networking company.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, excellent project management skills, and proven success in delivering complex infrastructure migration projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of data center migration projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network architects, engineers, and stakeholders, to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency, communication, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee and coordinate technical teams to ensure successful design, testing, and migration execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to maintain project progress.
• Conduct status meetings, prepare progress reports, and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.
• Work closely with Customer solutions teams to ensure deployments align with best practices and client requirements.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through post-migration reviews and lessons learned analysis.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a focus on data center migrations. Strong expertise in Networks solutions, including EOS, CloudVision, and spine-leaf architectures is a plus. Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-site networking projects with service provider customers or large financial services enterprises is preferred. Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to scope. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, and migration methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills is a MUST. Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.). PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with deployments in large-scale environments.
• Familiarity with cloud integrations and hybrid data center strategies.
• Strong understanding of automation and network orchestration tools.

Pay range and compensation package

Location: Remote Worker. Anywhere in the USA. USA Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
