Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Queue Manager/Leads to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and optimizing team performance, leading data contributor teams, and building robust data pipelines. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality data, solving complex product and business challenges, and overseeing end-to-end data pipeline management from ideation to maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of data contributors, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to optimize performance.
- Data Pipeline Management: Maintain, and enhance data pipeline processes to ensure efficient and high-quality data flow.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet those needs.
- Quality Assurance and Code Review: Monitor the quality of data generated by contributors, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to data standards.
- Troubleshooting: Oversee and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain data quality, reliability, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and leading data teams.
- Strong programming skills in multiple languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL, C++, Java, JS).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with data quality best practices and methodologies.
- Experience in AI or machine learning environments.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation within data operations.
