Technology Strategy Manager (Remote)

Job description / Role

We are working with a leading technology who are recruiting a Technology Strategy Manager to be based in Riyadh.

Key aspects of the role include:
– Translate and align the company strategy into transformation and initiatives and develop a strategic plan to achieve objectives.
– Build and maintain good working experience with key stakeholders.
– Manage technology implementations ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of solutions.
– Identify business opportunities and support business development efforts until successful sales closure.
– Identify trends and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

– Bachelor’s degree. An MBA is a plus.
– Minimum 7+ years’ work experience of which at least 5 years in IT/Digital technology strategy.
– Proven and relevant past consulting experience; alternatively strong in-house IT & Digital strategy/enterprise architecture division / advanced startup / pre-sales roles (and demonstration of intrinsic consulting skills).
– Experience and understanding of core technology strategy offerings – IT & Digital technology strategy, enterprise architecture, operating model, data & analytics, cloud.
– Experience in technology advisory and/or implementation.
– Experience in hospitality, aviation, or related industries either directly or through consulting engagements.
– Strong knowledge of the travel technology ecosystem and architectures , e.g. GDS (Global Distribution System), PSS (Passenger Service System), Operations.
– Strong data-driven consulting with focus on business and technology value architecting and realization.
