My client is one of the world’s largest FMCG & multinational consumer goods company, 300,000+ employees worldwide, 65+ brands, £63-billion-pound turnover with many of their brands being household names with one of their products either being sold or used every 10 seconds around the world.
As a Territory Manager, reporting to the Regional Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing medium and large end-user accounts within your assigned territory. You will drive distribution, installation, audit checks, and retention efforts to meet volume objectives, all while staying within budget. The role requires a strategic and proactive approach to building strong relationships with site managers and ensuring high standards of service delivery and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory rollout plan focused on large end-user contracts to achieve business objectives.
- Implement commercial and rollout plans effectively for medium and large accounts, maximizing resources and impact.
- Prioritize installations, service, and retention goals by collaborating closely with key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary communication link for field sales operations, providing strategic input and operational guidance.
- Manage projects, key accounts, events, and wholesaler relationships to drive growth and engagement.
- Track and report sales activities in Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and insights for continued success.
- Conduct site-level training for contracted end-user staff and deliver a competitive advantage through professional support.
- Develop annual business plans with set goals in alignment with company objectives.
- Contribute to channel events and manage budget allocations for assigned projects.
- Drive ongoing improvement in field sales activities and site productivity by following company policies and work processes.
- Lead and contribute to special projects as needed, ensuring successful outcomes for assigned events and exhibitions.
- Collaborate on business and budget planning for direct customer relationships, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Oversee site rollout plans, including audits, training, and installations, to maintain accountability and ensure stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in territory management or a similar role, ideally with a focus on large end-user accounts.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activity.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and contribute to strategic planning.
Package:
Basic Salary: Upto £45k
Bonus – Percentage of salary (Paid annually)
Company Car, mileage paid
25 days annual leave + Bank holidays, rising by 1 days for each 5 years of service.
