vital.ly is growing fast and we are filling multiple roles in our Practitioner Relationship team.

Territory Managers act as trusted advisors, partnering with the clinical practitioners who use our platform to help those practitioners reduce their admin time, achieve better patient outcomes, and build a more sustainable practice.

Territory Managers are qualified practitioners and are able to provide a sounding board to other practitioners on when to recommend a particular nutrition profile or protocol for safe and effective patient outcomes.

Territory Managers also identify and acquire new accounts, educating and advising in a consultative way how a clinic or practitioner who has never used the vital.ly platform can benefit by using it.

This role reports to the Head of Growth and will work closely with the broader vital.ly practitioner relationship and customer service team. Made for a self-starter, it is one of those roles with real opportunities as we grow.

This is a remote, field-based sales role, and in addition to online consultations, you will need to be able to travel to customer sites in the Greater Melbourne region and surrounding areas in Victoria. All candidates must have a valid Full Australian driving licence.

 

The Role

  • Meet with health practitioners, in a designated territory, through daily face-to-face meetings and online consultations to understand the uniqueness of their practice and how vital.ly can best support them to build a sustainable and successful business;
  • Educate and advise practitioners on how to use vital.ly products and services to reduce administrative time, achieve better patient outcomes, and benefit their practice financially;
  • Provide a sounding board to practitioners on when to recommend a particular nutrition profile, product or alternative solution for safe and effective patient outcomes;
  • Learn the challenges practitioners face and translate those insights into actionable solutions that boosts their client retention and increases their business success;
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with vital.ly customers in a designated territory as a trusted advisor to their practice;
  • Collaborate with the vital.ly Customer Service team to solve problems for customers in the territory;
  • Represent vital.ly in sales meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other professional sessions, both to meet with existing customers and to attract new ones;
  • Travel as needed within the sales territory to meet both existing customers and potential new ones;
  • Identify and acquire new accounts, while nurturing existing relationships to grow the territory with a mix of new and existing business;
  • Maintain records of all customer interactions in the CRM database;
  • Drive territory growth by managing a designated territory to achieve sales targets through customer acquisition, retention, and expansion strategies.

 

The Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3 years consultative outside sales experience with proven success in the complimentary medicine industry;
  • Qualified as a Naturopath or Nutritionist;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Live within Greater Melbourne;
  • Valid driver’s licence, ability to travel in territory every week;
  • Ability to travel interstate for events as needed and occasional trips to the home office in Sydney;
  • Strong computer skills including CRM and MS Office;   
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen with current right to work in Australia.
  • Would be great if prior experience as a territory manager within the practitioner supplement industry;
  • Would be great if prior experience in clinic.
