Key Responsibilities

  • Account Development: Cultivate new business opportunities and drive growth within both new and existing accounts across the West Coast, focusing on sectors such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Education.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate closely with HPC OEMs, resellers, and channel partners to promote and drive the adoption of innovative storage solutions.
  • Revenue Growth: Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets, showcasing your capability to close deals and support the company’s ongoing success.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside Sales Engineering teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, providing tailored solutions that effectively address their technical challenges, thus fostering early design wins and expanding market share.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience of at least 10 years in sales, particularly within HPC storage, storage software, or enterprise HPC solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of HPC and storage decision-making processes, especially within the Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Education sectors.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives, demonstrating a strong focus on discerning customer needs and effectively positioning solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong collaborative abilities and operational skills, allowing for seamless teamwork across remote environments.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A solid background in closing sales opportunities and managing client objections, with a focus on nurturing long-term relationships.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base Salary: (150,000 – )170,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • On-Target Earnings: (300,000 – )320,000
