Job Description
The Opportunity:
12-month contract
Our Fashion Design and Product development teams for our Penn. Penningtons Brand are on a mission to redefine plus-size fashion by creating beautiful, trend-forward products, with exceptional fit that meet and exceed customer expectations.
The Textile Print Designer helps bring designs and garments to life with patterns, graphics and artwork that reflect the fashion trends and our target customer. This role reports to the Design Director.
What You Do
- Researches trends and creates a wide variety of designs, colors, prints and patterns that complement the direction of the brand.
- Prepares artwork technical packages with detailed design specifications to ensure accurate strike-offs and patterns;
- Ensures all documentation is entered in the system.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- College diploma in Design, Graphic Design or Art;
- Minimum 2 years of related experience;
- Excellent Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Ability to understand technical aspects of creative process;
- Highly creative.
